Design Prototype Production
Fabricon Design is a forward-thinking design engineering business. Our advanced manufacturing processes deliver innovative plastics, aluminium and steel component designs for a wide variety of sectors. We offer a complete service from design, rapid prototype modelling through to full scale production.
We specialise in
Computer Aided Design - Solid Edge, Auto Desk and CAD CAM software.
Prototype, sampling and volume production
Jigs and tooling
3 & 4 Axis CNC Machining of ferrous, non-ferrous and composite materials
Reverse engineering of obsolete parts
Fabricon's Design service includes: Computer Aided Design using Solid Edge and Autodesk 3D CAD CAM software.
Having the ability to see your product allows customers to test any parts for feasibility, function and fit before a full production run.
Fabricon Design Production services include; 3 & 4 Axis CNC machining, cutting, drilling, routing, punching, injection moulding, laser marking and fabrication, in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Typical Case Work
Current design projects include: Our design and development team created a corner fixing system to be used in a large extrusion system to form a Hexagonal LED light fitting at Manchester Airport. After sample approval, a prototype was machined from an aluminium extrusion to the customer’s specification; cutting, machining, pressing, black anodised and then assembled. Following customer inspection and approval we machined hundreds of these components on our 4 axis CNC centres.
Senior Architectural Systems
Design, rapid prototyping and production of fenestration systems.
Design and manufacture of stair lift components
